Sand filtration stations KIT: are installed on a panel pedestal and consist of polypropylene filtration vessels with a six-way valve with a pressure gauge and inspection window. The suction of the six-way valve is connected by a flexible hose with a detachable end to Bettar pump. The pump is single-phase and self-priming. Maximum pressure 1.5 bar Working pressure 0.5–0.7 bar.
Sand filters operate on the natural principle of water filtration. Water passes through the layered sand that traps fine impurities. In this way the sand naturally becomes clogged and must be backwashed, for which the six-way valve is used. By turning the valve to the backwash position, we change the direction of water flow and flush the settled impurities to waste. This process can be repeated throughout the life of the sand, which is very high compared to other filtration methods.
Sand filtration can be used for saltwater.
These filters are made of polyethylene. Maximum operating pressure: 2 bar, test pressure: 2.5 bar. The warranty period for the filtration vessel is 3 years.
