TANGIT adhesive - 125g tuba

Product characteristics:

Field of use:

• bonding of thermoplastic pressure piping systems made of hard PVC (drinking water, gas) in accordance with EN 1452
• suitable for non-pressure piping systems (drainage of wastewater) in accordance with EN 1329
• for assembly work and repairs (e.g., kanalization piping)
• ideal for structural joints of PVC boards and tiles (e.g., catch basins, cabinets)
• plastic piping systems for industrial applications in accordance with EN ISO 15493

Application:

• cut the pipe end squarely, deburr from the outside (15°) and finish. Lightly clean and dry the bonding surfaces. Mark the installation depth of insertion at the end of the pipe.
• apply Tangit PVC-U/PVC-C, ABS Cleaner using absorbent moisture-absorbing paper wipes and thoroughly clean the dry surfaces to be glued. Use a new paper wipe for each cleaning.
• stir the Tangit adhesive before use, then apply along both sides with a brush (thin layer inside the fitting, thick at the end of the pipe), join the pipe and fitting without twisting or bending during the open time and hold firmly for a few seconds
• do not subject the bonded joint to mechanical stress for 5 minutes
• after the final adhesive application, wait at least 10–12 hours before installing the pipe into the trench
• waiting time before commissioning and performing a pressure test: 24 hours for new installations, for repairs 1 hour per bar of pressure - longer in individual cases

Consumption:

• for approximately 30 joints at d=63 mm (calculated for 500 g)
