Protective impregnation from Remei for treating the surfaces of pool borders and tiles made of artificial sandstone. The hydrophobic preparation creates effective protection against weathering, dirt fallout from the air, and limits the formation of algae. It actively repels water absorption and thus the transport and deposition of dirt into the surfaces of the products. The preparation is UV resistant and protects the products for about 2-3 years.

After application, it is colorless and does not affect the color shade of the products.

6-7 pool borders or approx. 1.5 m2 of tiles.

To ensure the surface of walkable paving against dirt while preserving its appearance and properties, we recommend applying a hydrophobic preparation REMEI COMPACT. The preparation creates effective protection against weathering, dirt fallout from the air and prevents the formation of algae. The preparation is UV resistant and protects the products for a long time. Apply undiluted to a dry - clean surface in a single working step. Apply the product evenly – saturating until the impregnation is accepted. It is best to apply with a large flat brush. Any unabsorbed preparation on the surface should be wiped off with a cloth to avoid puddles on the surface. Additional impregnation in a second working step is no longer possible, because after drying the first impregnation layer the liquid-repelling function of the preparation is fully effective!!

Tiles during impregnation and then until the second layer of impregnation is fully dry must not come into contact with water and must not be soiled in any other way!! You can verify proper drying of the impregnation by smelling - no vapors should be noticeable from the tile.

Freshly painted tiles should never be covered with packing polystyrene or other spacers, as these can cause irreversible indentations or stains on the surface!!

With proper impregnation, water on the tile should bead and not soak in.

The coating can also be applied directly to already installed tiles by the pool, but extra caution is required to avoid contaminating the pool itself or its surroundings. Best (if possible) impregnate the products before installation by placing the coated product in a larger container, e.g., a tray, and perform impregnation there. During impregnation, the unabsorbed product tends to run off the product. By catching it and reusing it, you will save a substantial amount.
