CTX-370 - 1 kg

This biocidal tablet preparation is intended for disinfecting swimming pool water. It is very resistant to decomposition by sunlight, and is therefore especially suitable for outdoor pools. The preparation contains 90-100 g/100 g of trichloroisocyanuric acid. WARNING: At elevated concentrations it may discolor pool liners.

 

Initial dosage: 1 tablet (200 g) CTX-370 for every 20 m3 of water.

Maintenance dosage: 1-2 g CTX-370 per 1 m3 of water daily at a pH of the desired value 7.2-7.6 so that the free chlorine content does not exceed 0.6 g/m3 (for a children's pool 0.3 g/m3). Check the free chlorine content daily with a test kit (Cl + pH). Note: The actual dosage should be adjusted depending on pool operating conditions, water temperature, and level of contamination.

 

Place the required amount of CTX-370 tablets into the skimmer basket or into the Cl feeder connected to the filtration system and start it. It is essential that the entire volume of the pool is filtered daily.

 

WARNING: The preparation can only be used in pools with a filtration unit. The preparation cannot be applied freely to the surface and, for safety reasons, not into floating devices directly into the pool (when using all types of Cl preparations in surface floating devices there is a risk of caustic burns and skin irritation, especially in children.). 

After applying the product, check the concentration of free Cl in the water with a test kit (e.g., code 03253). If the free Cl content is higher than 0.6 g/m3, wait or use a Cl neutralizer and use the pool only after its value drops to or below the stated level. For all pools, regularly replace the water to prevent increased mineralization and cyanuric acid content—the recommended concentration is 35 g/m3 (verify with a tester or photometer). Regularly also measure the content of bound Cl (chloramines) and when its concentration reaches 0.3 g/m3 or higher perform superchlorination with CTX-200/GR.
