Combined Shaft from MACEK and SYN

This combined shaft finds its best use at a pool with an overflow channel, where there is also a requirement to place the machinery close to and below the water level of the pool.

It is one large tank, divided by a waterproof partition into two parts. The technical section can accommodate pool equipment and the other part serves as a regular balancing tank.

We manufacture the tanks ourselves in our own production and therefore all shaft dimensions can be adjusted upon agreement to your requirements. For an additional charge we can add to the shaft an intake for filtration from an accumulation tank, or a preparation for ventilation of the technical shaft.

These shafts can also be used for smaller, publicly operated pools.


Technical shaft:

• Intended for installing pool technology – automatic filtration control, lighting control automation, safety transformer, heating, bottom drainage, chlorination, etc. (the technology is not part of the technical shaft)
• The shaft is made of 10mm-thick polypropylene. The shaft can be equipped for an additional charge with a 220 V outlet and a switch.
• The shaft lid (cover) is walkable rather than movable.
• The shaft is waterproof. All penetrations must be made with waterproof stoppers (not included in the price).
• The shaft is equipped with an aluminum ladder.
• SHAFT SETTLING - the shaft is set into a excavation on a concrete slab of appropriate thickness reinforced with a steel mesh, so that the upper part of the shaft protrudes at least 5 cm above the surrounding terrain (to prevent flooding of the shaft during rain). Exact information can be found in the Instructions for installation file.
• CONCRETING - the shaft must be concreted with moist concrete of appropriate strength all around, up to the top, including the ceiling.
• COVER COLOR - The filtration shaft is manufactured with a cover in RAL 7004 (gray). For an additional fee you can order with a cover in white, green, and light blue. Lead time for these colors is about 1 month.
  
  

Accumulation Tank:

• volume 3300 liters 
• 160 x 140 x 150 cm (width x length x depth) 
• serves as an overflow tank for channel basins
• standardly supplied with a plastic lid
• upon customer request ALU lid can be supplied (the frame is recessed into the paving and can be filled with concrete)
  
  

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR INSTALLATION:

• installed into a trench near the pool
• on a concrete slab of adequate wall thickness
• concreting is mandatory (foundation slab + walls and ceiling)
  for warranty recognition drainage is required
  
  

CONCRETING:

• concreting must be done with moist concrete of adequate wall strength
• concreting must be around the entire perimeter including the ceiling
• concreting is carried out gradually in several phases 
• during concreting the tank must be propped from the inside
