Bottom drain 175mm ABS, round, for vinyl pool

Bottom drain with side connection, internal thread 2”. Made of white ABS plastic with a grille attached to the flange. Suction speed at the grille 0.5 m/s and flow rate 11 m3/h. Bottom outlet with a plug and the option to connect a hydrostatic valve and drain pipe. Grille openings are no larger than 8 mm according to the applicable standard. Screws with M5 thread and brass inner holes to fix the grille to the flange. Can be used with concrete spa pools and lateral suction intakes.

 

Note: All types of plastic bottom drains are supplied with UV-resistant grilles.

 

According to UNE 13451-1 standard, in public pools it is necessary to ensure:
- suction speed at the drain grille 0.5 m/s
- maximum suction speed in the pipe 1.5 m/s
- minimum distance between drains: >2 m

 

Warning: When installing plastic products made of ABS, silicone sealant must not be used. Silicone compounds can cause degradation of ABS plastic.
