The folding joint is suitable wherever you need to swing out the ladder from the pool for a roll cover or solar blanket. The joint is mounted to the floor using two included screws. The ladder is then simply slid onto the joint tube. The joint is suitable for a tube diameter of 43 mm. The joint is made from stainless steel AISI-304.
How the folding joint works:
If the steps are in the pool, the joint axis is inserted into a groove where it cannot fold. To fold it, you need to move the axis by about 2 cm, then the joint can be rotated. For a demonstration of how it works, you can watch the video above.
