CTX-21, 6kg

Due to heating of the water and the use of chemical agents, water alkalinity may decrease and subsequently pH may fluctuate. The recommended pool water alkalinity is 125 - 150 g/m3 CaCO3. This product serves to increase the total alkalinity of the water if its value is low and therefore it is not possible to maintain the water pH at the desired level.

The product contains sodium hydrogen carbonate.

 

 Dosage: 

 1.8kg CTX-21 will increase the total alkalinity in 100 m3 of water by 10 g/m3. The alkalinity value should be checked once a week with a test kit. 

Application:

Dissolve the required amount of CTX-21 in a plastic container with water and pour the solution evenly over the surface of the pool. Then start your filtration system and let the water filter for about 8 hours. During the application and the following 8 hours, no one may be in the pool.

 

Total alkalinity is determined by the content of bicarbonates, carbonates and hydroxides contained in the water. Without maintaining the prescribed level of total alkalinity, it is not possible to keep the other required water parameters.

Low total alkalinity causes corrosion and staining on metal pool fittings and problems with maintaining the water pH. High total alkalinity causes high pH, cloudiness, irritation of eyes, ears, throat and respiratory tract of swimmers and the formation of deposits on pool walls.
